From the Health Office
A friendly reminder that any student who may need medications during the school day or who may need rescue or emergency medication, will need to update physician’s orders for the school year. All physician’s orders must be rewritten for each school year. Asthma Action Plans and  Allergy and Anaphylaxis Emergency Plans also require yearly updates by your physician. Please send updated copies of orders and action plans to the Health office as soon as possible.

All prescription medications should be brought to the Health office and must be in the original container with the printed pharmacy labels. This includes EpiPens, Insulin and Glucagon orders, inhalers, and all prescriptions.

For questions, please reach out to Laura Linnell RN, llinnell@jpiihyannis.org or Ellen Byrd RN: ebyrd@jpiihyannis.org

Game starts at 6:00 PM. Each sport will be represented with at least one home match-up throughout the season. Roar Lions!

JPII Students to Lead Climate Conversations on September 18
You are invited to take a walk around Cotuit’s Eagle Pond to learn more about the floating garden built by the St. John Paul II AP Environmental Science class last spring! From conception to completion, the AP EnviSci class – working in conjunction with Mullen Building, Barnstable Land Trust, Town of Barnstable and BlueBlocks Floating Gardens, via Thread Collective, based in Brooklyn NY – designed, constructed, and installed this sustainable floating garden. Meet the students and Town of Barnstable partners and learn how the floating garden provides a habitat for local pond life, filters pollutants from the water, and helps prevent harmful algae blooms—all of which contribute to the long-term sustainability of Eagle Pond.

Please register HERE if you plan on attending.
