Match Madness!

Mass: Tuesday, All School Mass, Feast of St. Joseph, 10:00 A.M. St. Francis Xavier Church, all are welcome.
Morning Prayer: Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Chapel.
Confessions: Tuesday after school in the Chapel.
The Rosary: Friday, at 7:30 A.M. in the Chapel.

Financial Assistance for the 2023/2024 School Year

The online application for financial assistance for the 2024-2025 school year is open.  To be considered for financial assistance, you must complete an application each year with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact Mrs. Keras, Student Accounts Coordinator, at mkeras@JPIIHyannis.org.

Grados 5-8 Noticias

Lenten Food Drive
The National Junior Honor Society will sponsor a food drive from March 14 – 22.  Boxes will be in the gym for donations.  Students should place non-perishable food items into the box designated for their grade.  Thank you for your anticipated generosity. 

Community Service
Mrs. Bentley will host an hour of community service in room 103 on March 26 from 3-4:00 P.M.  Students will be making Easter cards for the elderly in a local nursing home. Thank you to the Rice family for helping with this endeavor.

It’s that time of year again! Please provide Mrs. Linnell with an updated copy of your child’s most recent Physical Examination. If insurance allows, children should have a yearly physical exam at their pediatrician’s office. You can email, Fax, or send a copy in with your child. Thank you! Middle School Winter Sports Season Mini Banquet – Last week was high school athletics – this is for Middle School

Middle school basketball and cheer athletes are invited to an after-school celebration and awards ceremony on March 19, immediately after school, in the high school cafeteria. Students will be escorted to the high school building. The event ends at 4:00 P.M. Please pick up your child at the back entrance of the high school building. The coaches will be monitoring the pick-up process.

Middle School Spring Sports Clinics
Beginning the week of April 8th, students are invited to participate in weekly sports clinics with varsity coaching staff from 3:15-4:30 P.M.

Shadow Stations of the Cross
The Shadow Stations of the Cross will be presented by our 5-8 Campus Ministry Students, along with a Light Show Reflection by Grade 5.  This will take place in Monsignor Thomson Hall on March 20 at 7:00 P.M. This presentation is a beautiful Lenten tradition that provides an opportunity for us to reflect on the Passion and death of our Lord. All students and their families are invited to attend. Please note that participation in the presentation is mandatory for fifth-graders.

International Women’s Month
In honor of International Women’s Month, Persist is supporting our school community and A Baby Center’s Dottie Project by collecting donations of feminine hygiene items. Donations can be brought to the bins outside of Ms. McLoed’s office or Ms. Poirier’s room. Additionally, cash or check donations can be brought to the main office. Donations will be used to create supply bags that will be available to our students as well as to support the Dottie Project. Please reach out to Ms. Poirier (apoirier@jpiihyannis.org) with any questions. Thank you!

Attention:  Concert Choir: 

Stations of the Cross on Wednesday, March 20 at 5:00 PM.  (PLEASE ARRIVE BY 5 PM AT THE LATEST.)  St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 481 Quaker Road, North Falmouth. It takes about 45 minutes to get there from here, with very little traffic. Attire is school uniform with sweater, please. They will serve us a pizza dinner afterward, which was a lot of fun last year!
