Programa Pre-AP
Pre-AP courses follow a College Board curriculum that emphasizes close reading and analysis, critical thinking, and interpreting sources. In the classroom, students engage with a wide variety of primary source materials, read and write different types of essays, and engage deeply with each others’ ideas.
Programa AP Capstone
JPII is one of the few schools in the area to have been selected to implement this innovative and rigorous program. AP Capstone is a diploma program that allows students to develop the skills that matter most for college success: research, collaboration, and communication.
El programa consta de dos cursos tomados en secuencia: Seminario AP e Investigación AP. Desarrollado en respuesta directa a los comentarios de los profesores de educación superior y los funcionarios de admisión a la universidad, AP Capstone complementa el estudio profundo y específico de la materia de otros cursos y exámenes de Advanced Placement.
