Thank You For a Terrific Fall Fest!
Friends and families took advantage of the great weather to gather and celebrate JPII and get to know one another at Naukabout Brewery on Saturday. Thank you to all of our generous sponsors for helping us make our only fall fundraising event such a success.

Open House is October 29, 2025
Admissions season is upon us, and our families are the best advertisement for the school! Parent Volunteer Opportunity WEDNESDAY!
Grandparents and Special Friends Day (Wednesday, October 22) is one of JPII’s largest events of the year.  We could still use a few helpers on Wednesday!  Click here for volunteer opportunities.  If you have any questions, please contact Margaret Keras at mkeras@JPIIHyannis.org.

A Halloween Event for JPII Friends and Families
Trunk or Treat will take place Thursday, October 30th from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. in the lower parking lot of the High School Building (in the back) and is coordinated by the JPII Student Reach Out Leaders. Families are invited to campus to take part – this is a particular hit for younger siblings and another chance to wear their Halloween costumes and enjoy some extra candy! Homecoming Game is Saturday, October 25
Please plan on attending the first homecoming JPII Men’s and Women’s soccer match-up at JPII! The two teams will mix it up for a match full of JPII spirit. Kick off is at 11:00 AM with the homecoming court presented at halftime.  We will have Sweetish Fish, Glo BBQ, Press Ahead Coffee, Aundria’s Kitchen, and Cape Cod Concessions all on-site selling snacks, coffee, food, and candy!  Come watch the game and grab some lunch (or breakfast) while you are at it! All are welcome to come share their Lion Pride!

Parent Partnership Meeting, October 29
The next Parent Partnership meeting will be held on October 29 at 8:15 AM in the ARC in the High School Division. RSVP here to let us know you are coming.

There Are Still Many Outstanding Media Waivers 
There has been a significant change to JPII’s Parent Contact and Photo Release policy. All families must print, sign, and return the 2025-2026 Contact and Photo Release Waiver, indicating their decision as to permission for the use of parent contact information or the use of student work, photographs, video, or name. 

Spirit Week is October 20-24
Spirit Week is coming up soon and the Student Council has a full roster of fun themes and events planned for each day! Be sure to check the class Instagram page for important reminders on theme days and events. Show your Lion pride and let the most spirited class win!

Grandparents and Special Friends Day will be on Wednesday during Spirit Week. Students must be in full uniform through Mass, but may bring a change of clothes for the afternoon.

Homecoming Dance is Saturday, October 25
The Student Council is hosting the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, 10/25, from 7-10 PM in the Prep Division gym. Tickets will be sold during lunch, Monday through Thursday, October 20-23, and cost $10 per person (cash only). If you plan on bringing a guest from another school, please be sure to get a guest form from the main office and have that filled out and returned by Monday, 10/20. Hope to see you on the dance floor!

Guidance Notes
Guidance appointments on Wednesdays throughout the semester are available on the Sign-Up Genius located HERE.

From 7:00-8:30 PM on Wednesday, October 22, there will be a Junior Guidance Night covering the college planning process. This meeting is open to all Junior students and their parents/guardians. It will be held in the ARC at the High School.

Christian Service Opportunity on Sunday, Nov. 2
Mr. Wahle is organizing a Christian Service opportunity for current 9th and 10th grade students to volunteer at the Falmouth Fall Road Race on Sunday, November 2nd at 2:30 pm. Proceeds from the road race go toward scholarships, donations, and grants that support local youth athletics and health & wellness initiatives. Please sign up in the front office and contact Mr. Wahle for more details.
