2026 Athletics Banquet
The Athletics Banquet for all student-athletes who participated in a high school sport this school year will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 5:30 P.M. at the Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod in Hyannis. Student-athletes who played on a high school team during this school year and their families are invited to attend.  There is no cost for student-athletes.  Guests are $35 per person.

Season recaps will be provided for each team, individual and team award winners will be announced, and we will give special recognition to our graduating seniors.

Students should dress in professional attire, with shirts and ties for male students and appropriate dress for females.

Sharing Kindness Suicide Awareness Walk
On Saturday May 16th, at 10:00 AM, members of the JPII Hope Squad will lead a group of students along with any family or friends wanting to join the walk at Veterans Park Beach in Hyannis, MA to raise awareness for Suicide Prevention. This event will be counted as a service opportunity for students in all grades. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join! For those who register, please meet the group at 9:30AM at Veterans Park Beach. Used Uniforms
Have you noticed your Preparatory student has grown out of his or her uniform? Do you have a child in grade 8 who will be changing their uniform next year? What about a high school graduate? As you go through your closets, please consider donating gently used uniforms to the Roar Store for our Used Uniform Department.  Drop your donations in the main office during school hours or bring them to the Roar Store after school.

Grade 8 Graduation Portrait
The eighth grade will take a formal class graduation portrait, which will be included in the students’ diplomas. This date is set for Friday, May 15th, at 9:00 A.M. Students should come to school in regular uniforms. They will wear their graduation gowns for the picture. This is the only opportunity for the portrait, so please make every effort to be in school on May 15.

Gr. 5 International Night is Wednesday, May 13
Grab your passport at the door on Wednesday, May 13, and come hear about far away places as our grade 5 students present their International projects in the JPII gym. The event will be from 5:30-7:30 PM. For more information, click HERE.

Spring Festival of the Arts is Tuesday, May 19
Join us as we celebrate the incredible talents of our students and all of the hard work they have put into the arts this year. Art show begins at 6:00 and the concert will begin at 6:30. Click HERE for more information.

Still Time to Sign Up for the Free Field Hockey Clinics
Come learn the sport of field hockey from current JPII team members on Wednesdays from April 29 to June 3. There is no cost to attend, just come ready to play. The Last Dance of the Year will be Friday. May 29
On Friday, May 29 at 7:00 PM we will celebrate grade 8 with their final dance of the year while we welcome grade 5 to their very first dance! Please click HERE for details on dress code and times.

Lunch Volunteers Needed – Preparatory Division
Do you have an hour to come to school and help with the lunch program? Volunteers are needed at the Preparatory Division to assist 11:00 to 12:00. Click HERE to sign up. It can be one hour a month or one hour a week, whatever fits your schedule!

All School Mass May 14
On Thursday, May 14 at 10:00 AM there will be an all school Mass at St. Francis Xavier church. Full uniform will be required.

Senior Well Wishes
Consider writing a short note or letter for your senior or any seniors that you have had a connection with! If you have any small things that you would like to give these seniors, that would be great as well. The goal is to have at least one note for each student.  Please either email Ms. Mckenzie (amckenzie@jpiihyannis.org) a copy of the note to print out, or drop off an unsealed card to the mail office. Thank you again for your willingness to support our seniors with some wonderful memories.

Senior Banquet and Baccalaureate Mass
Senior Families – Please be on the lookout for Baccalaureate and Senior Banquet Invitations coming in the mail.  There is a QR code to  RSVP on the invitation. 

Guidance Notes
On Wednesday, May 13 at 7:00 PM  there will be an in-person guidance night for junior parents. Topics covered will be in preparation for the senior year.
