Ready, Set, Go (to college): Part B

collegerep1November means deadlines! Many colleges and universities offer Early Action or Early Decision options for their applications. Often, the deadline for these applications is November 1.

Throughout the fall of 2016, St. John Paul II High School will host representatives from more than 40 colleges and universities. These representatives visit with us during lunch time so that they are able to see and be seen by our entire student body. Many sophomores and juniors take advantage of these visits to start the process of asking questions and building relationships with representatives from colleges of interest to them.

We encourage all students to take time to meet and greet these representatives who have come to our school to meet them. The reaction from the college reps who have visited our school and those we have seen at the various college fairs has been wonderful!

Guidance meetings continue throughout the fall for all of our students. These sessions will focus on a review of the first quarter report cards and plans to address any academic concerns. Students and parents are encouraged to contact teachers and/or guidance counselors with any questions.

Best wishes for a wonderful Thanksgiving from Guidance to you!

When we consider all that we are thankful for, our students and families top the list!
