Meet our 2025-2026 Annual Fund Chairs

The Crofford family has been a part of St. John Paul II School for more than a decade. They have witnessed firsthand the tremendous impact of the Blue and Gold Annual Fund and this year generously agreed to help spread the word serve as ambassadors for this important initiative.

“Your gift to the Annual Fund directly shapes the student experience. It affects the trajectory of lives. It changes futures. It is meaningful, local, impactful, and deeply personal.”

What is the Blue & Gold Annual Fund?

The Blue & Gold Annual Fund is the heart of giving at St. John Paul II School. Each year, alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty and staff, Advisory Board members, and friends come together to make gifts that strengthen every part of the JPII experience.

These unrestricted gifts go directly into the school’s operating budget, helping to:

  • Support outstanding teachers and classroom innovation
  • Enrich academic and faith-based programs
  • Strengthen our Mission and Ministry
  • Enhance technology and learning spaces
  • Provide exceptional opportunities for every student

Every gift, no matter the size, shows belief in our mission and directly supports the next generation of Lions!

Why is the Annual Fund so important?

Tuition provides the foundation for a JPII education, but it doesn’t cover the full cost of what it takes to deliver the well-rounded experience our students receive. By spring—typically in early April—tuition revenue runs out.

The Blue & Gold Annual Fund bridges that gap, ensuring our students have the resources they need for the rest of the year. Your support helps keep tuition affordable, programs strong, and our school thriving.

How does my gift make a difference?

Your generosity has an immediate impact—fueling every part of student life at St. John Paul II School. From the classroom to the chapel, the playing field to the stage, your support helps our students grow as scholars, leaders, and people of faith.

When you give to the Blue & Gold Annual Fund, you invest in the values, spirit, and future of JPII—and in the young people who will go on to make a difference in their communities and the world.

Together, we keep JPII strong.

How do I make my gift?

The Annual Fund is run on a fiscal year with solicitations beginning on July 1 and all gifts recorded by June 30 are credited for the campaign year. Opportunities to give are made through the mail, personal solicitations and online communications.

You can donate via our secure online giving site found here or send a check to:

JPII provides a culture and environment where students can flourish in all dimensions of their growth and maturity.

Dear Friends,

Maturity. It’s what we seek to instill in students as they grow through their years at St. John Paul II School. It’s what we see in ourselves, too. Founded in 1996 and 2007, St. John Paul II School is maturing institutionally, as the school’s reputation, accomplishments, and graduated alums and families accrue. Not a new school nor an especially young school any longer, JPII has achieved a position to make an even more significant impact on students, families, and the broader Cape community.

Blue & Gold 2021-2022 Annual Fund Chairpersons Michael ’13 and Rachael ’12 Doyle have seen this first hand. As alums and older siblings of JPII students, Michael and Rachael have traced the school’s growth through achievements and increasing impact. In their words, “We’re from the founding years and take great pride in seeing our beautiful young school mature into an essential part of the Cape educational landscape. As alumni and donors, we experienced firsthand the school’s impact on our personal lives and professions. We ask you to join us in investing in the JPII experience today and supporting what it will become tomorrow.”

While many schools were partially or fully remote the past eighteen months, students, faculty members, and staff members at JPII achieved entirely in-person education throughout, a benefit that families will not soon forget. Not surprisingly, friends and families helped the school achieve its best-ever Blue & Gold Annual Fund results. Your faithful generosity to the Blue & Gold Annual Fund is the backbone that enables JPII to keep private, Catholic education affordable and first-rate, and enables the school to confidently tackle new, robust initiatives.

At this formative time in the school’s growth, please join Michael, Rachael, and many others by making your gift today.

Sincerely yours,
