HYANNIS — With Thursday’s fog gone by late morning, conditions were clear that afternoon for the St. John Paul II concert choir to begin its long-awaited journey to Rome for multiple performances at the Vatican, including one in the presence of Pope Francis.
Before the flight, Circle Yuan, her fellow choir members and director Richard Fish, who had packed 600 granola bars, gathered in the school’s auditorium.
