St. John Paul II High School Head Baseball Coach Mark A. Santos has resigned as head baseball coach in order to spend time with his family. Santos and Head of School Christopher Keavy made the announcement at a players meeting on Wednesday, October 18.

Santos will continue as the Lions’ Athletic Director.

“This has been a tough decision because the baseball program means so much to me. It’s in my blood,” said Santos. “But it’s important for me to be able to spend time with my son Matthew, who plays baseball at Amherst College, my daughter Allison, who attends Villanova University, and my wife Amy. Nonetheless, I am proud beyond words of what our student-athletes and coaches have accomplished these past seven years.”
