Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord Mass March 25
This all school Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 25 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Church. High school students are expected to be in full liturgical day uniform. Parents and friends are invited to attend Mass with us. 

Spaghetti Supper:
The St. Joan of Arc Knights of Columbus Council 3384 will be holding a Spaghetti Supper at the St. Joan of Arc Parish Center in Orleans on Saturday, April 25 to benefit St. John Paul II School. The event begins with a social at 5:00 and dinner at 6:00 with lots of fun auction items available. If you are interested in attending, make your reservation early by using the form found HERE.

Parent Partnership Meeting on March 25
The JPII Parent Partnership Council is a committee designed for parents, guardians and grandparents who want to become more involved in supporting their school. This council aims to build a sense of community among JPII families. Our  next meeting is Wednesday, March 25 at 8:15 AM in the ARC. To let us know you are coming, click HERE.

Financial Assistance for the 2026-2027  School Year
The online application for financial assistance for the 2026-2027 school year is open. To be considered for financial assistance, you must complete an application each year with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact Mrs. Keras, Student Accounts Coordinator, at mkeras@JPIIHyannis.org.

The Knights of Columbus, Council 13388, of Christ the King Parish Catholic High School Scholarship
This scholarship is open to students entering grades 9-12 at St. John Paul II School who are active members of Christ the King parish and have a strong academic record as well as a demonstrated financial need. Additionally, applicants must receive a letter of recommendation from the pastor. Students should work with Admissions Director Michael Wahle to apply for the scholarship. Please email Mr. Wahle at mwahle@JPIIHyannis.org for more information. The final award selection will be made by the Knights of Columbus. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 10th.

Every morning in Our Lady of Fatima Chapel in the heart of the High School building, we invite you to gather with us to worship. The schedule throughout the year is as follows:

Tues. and Thurs. 7:40 AM:     Liturgy of the Hours Morning Prayer
Friday                  7:30 AM:       Rosary

The Roar Store 
The Roar Store will be open Monday through Thursday from 2:45-3:30. We are looking for volunteers to help in the school store.  Please reach out to Amy Kowal at akowal@jpiihyannis.org if interested.

Tennis Announcement! Please complete interest form by April 1
Attention all students in grades 5-8 interested in playing tennis this Spring. We have a new addition to the JPII Preparatory Athletics- a tennis team coached by Coach Brandon Cutter at Mid-Cape Athletics. Practices will be Tues/Thurs and there will be scheduled matches. For details, please check out the flyer HERE. If your child would like to participate, please complete THIS FORM by April 1st to be added to the roster.

Shadow Stations of the Cross on April 1
The Shadow Stations of the Cross will be presented by our 5-8 Campus Ministry Students, along with a Light Show Reflection by Grade 5. This will take place in the JPII Auditorium  on April 1  at 6:00 PM. This presentation is a beautiful Lenten tradition that provides an opportunity for us to reflect on the Passion and death of our Lord. All students and their families are invited to attend. Spring Sports Media Day
All athletes participating in a high school sport this spring are asked to attend the spring sports media day on Friday, March 27. Each team will have the opportunity to take photos that we will be able to use throughout the season. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your team’s scheduled arrival time and be ready in uniform. See the times for each team HERE. 

Lunch Volunteers Needed – Preparatory Division
Do you have an hour to come to school and help with the lunch program? Volunteers are needed at the Preparatory Division to assist 11:00 to 12:00. Click HERE to sign up. It can be one hour a month or one hour a week, whatever fits your schedule!

GR 9 – 12 INFORMATION  

Rostro de Cristo Immersion Retreat Opportunity:
JPII is going to the Dominican Republic! JPII has a longstanding relationship with Rostro de Cristo, an organization that offers intercultural experiences to groups of high school students allowing them to experience life amongst marginalized communities. A group led by Ms. McPherson and Mr. Rohrer will be going to Consuelo in the DR from May 16-23, 2026. This opportunity is available to current juniors and seniors. An interest meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 24 at 6:00 pm in the ARC. A signed interest form along with a $100 deposit is due on Friday, March 27.
