Programme Pre-AP
Pre-AP courses follow a College Board curriculum that emphasizes close reading and analysis, critical thinking, and interpreting sources. In the classroom, students engage with a wide variety of primary source materials, read and write different types of essays, and engage deeply with each others’ ideas.
Programme AP Capstone
JPII is one of the few schools in the area to have been selected to implement this innovative and rigorous program. AP Capstone is a diploma program that allows students to develop the skills that matter most for college success: research, collaboration, and communication.
Le programme consiste en deux cours pris dans l'ordre : AP Seminar et AP Research. Développé en réponse directe aux commentaires des professeurs de l'enseignement supérieur et des responsables des admissions dans les universités, AP Capstone complète l'étude approfondie et spécifique à un sujet des autres cours et examens Advanced Placement.
