Live the JPII experience- spirit, friendship, activities, exploration, and fun. It goes beyond academics and faith formation it helps students find their second home and grow in new ways. From Spirit Week class competitions to the annual Gingerbread House Competition, JPII students care for one another, love their school, get involved, and try new things.

Chess club meets once a cycle to compete, learn, and enjoy the game of chess with classmates. Students of all skill levels are encouraged to join. The club also makes efforts to establish division-wide, school-wide, and regional tournaments.
Dungeons and Dragons meets once a cycle for students that are interested in playing Table Top Role Playing Games. Players that are experienced with TTRPGs or new players are welcome to come on down and roll!
The Investment Club is designed to help students learn about the stock market and the different ways of earning returns on their money. After understanding the basics, students compete in a stock market simulation through Investopedia.
All students are welcome to join the morning announcement team. This group enthusiastically relays all school information to the student body each morning before the start of the school day.
National Honor Society members are selected based on excellent scholarship, leadership, service, and character. NHS is involved in fundraisers such as Toys for Tots and the dodge-ball tournament. This group also provides peer tutoring throughout our grade 5-12 school.
No Place For Hate is a student-led organization dedicated to addressing existing prejudice within the school community and creating an inclusive, non-toxic environment where people feel safe and cared for.

Students meet to create, inspire, and assist with a myriad of artistic endeavors. These range from personal projects such as portfolio building, pieces for contest entry, or skill based studies to school wide projects that compliment other events or add an artistic touch to the hallways of the building. Students of all skill levels are welcome to participate.
Reach Out is our leadership organization for juniors and seniors. Reach Out assists with events and programs such as new student orientation and open house. This groups plays an important role in supporting the advancement efforts of the school.
Students at JPII complete individual research projects culminating in the presentation of their work at the JPII Science Fair in February. Science professionals from southeastern MA serve as judges at the local fair. Select projects proceed to compete at the State and Regional Levels. Freshmen enrolled in Pre-AP Biology participate as a part of their class curriculum, while upperclassmen can elect to participate for ‘science fair practicum’ credit.
This club fosters interest in the Spanish/Hispanic culture in a fun, casual manner and provides an opportunity to speak conversational Spanish.
JPII is a member of the Eastern Massachusetts Speech and Debate League. This club provides students the opportunity to develop and refine analytical, critical thinking and communication skills through competitive speech and debate.
SAAC is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. The SAAC also offers input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes at JPII.
Student Council is the governing student body. They serve as liaisons between the students and faculty and organize the community events at our school. Elections take place in the fall for Class Officers and the spring for the Student Council Executive Board.
The Yearbook offers students an opportunity to participate in a variety of roles such as photography, graphic design, illustration, writing and leadership. It is a creative space where students can make a lasting mark on both student memories and the school’s history.
