2026-2027 Over the Bridge Bus – Additional Stop!
We are pleased to announce, starting with the 2026-2027 school year,  the addition of a new bus stop at Corpus Christi Church in East Sandwich.  This addition was made in response to feedback and requests from parents.  We hope this new stop will provide added convenience for our students and families.  We thank Fr. Jack Schrader, Pastor of Corpus Christi, for enabling JPII to establish the new stop.  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Siscoe at dsiscoe@JPIIHyannis.org

Summer Office Hours Reduced
From June 22 through August 21 the main office hours in both buildings will be reduced.  The hours will be Tuesday-Thursday 9:00 AM- 2:00 PM.

Make a Difference! Work on your CORI Volunteer Forms over the summer
If you are thinking about volunteering during the 2026-2027 school year and have not done your CORI forms or your Diocesan safety certification, consider taking care of those details over the next few months. There are many opportunities to help out in the early days of September and taking care of this ahead of time will be a great way to make a difference at the school! For instructions and links to the forms, click HERE. If you have any questions, or would like to check to see if your volunteer forms are still valid, please reach out to dsiscoe@jpiihyannis.org (Prep Division)  or mainoffice_hs@jpiihyannis.org (High School Division).

Used Uniforms and School Books
Please consider donating your gently used uniforms! Drop your donations of school required reading books and gently used uniforms (clean, without stains or rips) in the main office during school hours or bring them to the Roar Store after school. Check out our flyer HERE.

Visit our used uniform and book sale on June 22 from 2-4 PM in the High School Cafeteria. Please enter through the back doors of the high school building. The Roar Store will also be open!

Exploring Oceanography for Ages 12-15
Do you have a young oceanographer in your family? Students between the ages of 12-15 are invited to take part in a free oceanography program led by retired JPII Science Department Chairperson, Jim Remillard from July 21-23. For more information on this hands-on program and to learn how to register, please click HERE.

From the Health Office
Please remember to stop in to the Health office to pick up any prescriptions your student may have. Any medications not picked up by the last day of school will be discarded.

A friendly reminder that any student who may have medications during the school day or who may need rescue or emergency medication will need to update the physician’s orders for the next school year. All physicians’ orders must be rewritten for each school year. Asthma Action Plans and  Allergy and Anaphylaxis Emergency Plans also require yearly updates by your physician. If you visit your pediatrician over the summer, be sure to ask for copies for our records for next year.

All prescription medications should be brought to the Health office and must be in the original container with the printed pharmacy labels. This includes EpiPens, Insulin and Glucagon orders, inhalers, and all prescriptions.

For questions, please reach out to Laura Linnell RN, llinnell@jpiihyannis.org or Ellen Byrd RN: ebyrd@jpiihyannis.org
