Fall Fest is September 26
The one and only fall fundraiser for St. John Paul II School is scheduled for Saturday, September 26 at 4:30 PM at Naukabout Brewery. Please join us in supporting the programs at JPII while enjoying a relaxed evening of fun and friendship. Sponsorships and tickets are now available. Click HERE.
Student Handbook and Acknowledgement Form
To view the 2026-2027 Student and Family Handbook, please click HERE. After reviewing this year’s handbook, one parent or guardian and the student must complete the Handbook Acknowledgement Form. Please take a moment to complete this task by September 2.
Transportation Information
Barnstable Buses:
There will be NO Barnstable buses August 27 through September 1. They will begin on Tuesday, September 2.
Cape Cod RTA:
The Cape Cod RTA buses will begin on September 8.
Over the Bridge Bus Registration:

Parent Partnership Meeting: Wednesday, September 2 at 8:15 AM
The Parent Partnership is a group dedicated to uniting the school as a comprehensive grades 5-12 experience. The goal of the Parent Partnership is to grow the sense of community at JPII through fostering parent involvement. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 2 at 8:15 AM in the ARC at the high school. This is open to parents and guardians of all students, regardless of grade level. Please RSVP HERE if you will be attending.
Join the Lions Den! Volunteer at JPII
If you are thinking about volunteering during the 2026-2027 school year and have not done your CORI forms or the Diocesan safety certification, consider taking care of those details now. There are many opportunities to help throughout the year! For instructions and links to the forms, click HERE. Used Uniforms and School Books
Please consider donating your gently used uniforms! Drop your donations of school required reading books and gently used uniforms (clean, without stains or rips) in the main office of either building during school hours.
Looking For The Next High School Nurse
Are you or is anyone you know interested in being our next high school nurse? If you are, please contact Ms. Val at MValentino@JPIIHyannis.org
The School Nurse provides a robust health program for the assessment, evaluation, maintenance, and improvement of the health of our students. The School Nurse will direct the Health Clinic in its daily functions and will be responsible for ensuring compliance of all student records, developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing relationships, and identifying areas of improvement to the care of students.

GR 5 – 8 INFORMATION
Aftercare and Study Hall
Please note that Aftercare and Study Hall will begin on Wednesday, September 9.
Home and School Association Meeting:
The first meeting of the Preparatory Division Home and School Association parent organization (HSA) will be on Tuesday, September 8. These meetings are held via Zoom at 6:30 PM. The mission of the HSA is to enhance the Catholic family spirit while promoting a community atmosphere through special events for students and families throughout the school year (family bingo, games night, dances, cultural enrichment, Catholic Schools Week activities, etc.). Grade 5 Games Night is Friday, September 11
Take advantage of this opportunity to get to know other classmates by attending Games Night in the JPII gym on Friday, September 11 from 6:00- 8:00 PM. For more information, please click HERE.
Grade 6-8 Welcome Back Dance is Friday, September 18
The first dance of the year for students in grades 6-8 will be on Friday, September 11 from 7:00-9:00 PM in the JPII Gym. For more information about the dance, please see the flyer HERE.
Preparatory Division Photos will be September 10
ALL students will have their photos taken in their uniforms on Thursday, September 10. Grade 8 will have a separate day for outdoor photos on September 28. For more information about the day and how ordering prints will work, please click the link HERE.
Sign Up for Private Instrument Lessons

Lunch Volunteers Needed
Do you have an hour to spare during the week? The Prep Division needs help filling the lunch bins at the High School and then distributing lunches to students at the Prep. It is quick and easy! We are looking for help every day from approximately 11:00-12:15. Volunteers should go directly to the High School and check in at the office where they will be given further instructions. There is also opportunity after lunch for parents to stay and give teachers a break during the X-Block period. Please note that all volunteers must be CORI cleared by the Diocese of Fall River prior to volunteering.

High School Uniform Quarter Zip Pullover and Hilfiger Polos
Please note that the uniform required quarter zip is ordered through the Roar Store. Click here to place your order. The school will contact you when your order is ready for pick-up.
The Hilfiger short sleeve polo shirt may be purchased online only and can be worn until Columbus Day with the exception of liturgical days.
