JPII Students To Assist Catholic Schools After Harvey

In keeping with our mission to serve others, St. John Paul II High School will partner with Catholic schools across the country to assist diocesan schools impacted by Hurricane Harvey and its aftermath.

Student to Student: A Catholic School Response to Hurricane Harvey” is a powerful opportunity to engage students in living the Gospel message of compassionate service and generosity to others.

The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) is asking every Catholic school family to contribute to help Catholic schools impacted by the storm to rebuild, reopen, and re-enroll students.

But we can only do this with your help.

Here’s how you can help:

  1. We are asking each JPII student to donate $5 to this effort. Collections will he held during lunch periods this week.
  2. Additionally, families may wish to donate via the school’s secure, online donation page.

A. Use the Donation Category drop down box and select “Restricted: Other;”
B. Type “Student to Student” in the “If you selected “Restricted:Other” box at the bottom of the form.

NCEA will distribute 100% of the funds collected to dioceses in vital need of support for their Catholic schools due to the impact of Hurricane Harvey.

Thank you again for support and prayers.
