Growing up as the youngest in a sporting family has had its advantages for St. John Paul II three-sport athlete Victoria Butler.
Her interest in the sports of lacrosse and basketball were piqued at an early age while following the exploits of her older brothers. Then, in later years, she’d tag along with her brothers and parents to the Bay Pointe Golf Course in Wareham or Crosswinds Golf Course in Plymouth.
All of that early interest has helped to contribute to her fine career as a golfer on the Lions boys’ team in the fall, and the girls’ basketball and lacrosse teams in the winter and fall.
“Sports have been a huge part of my life,” she said. “I’m thankful for my family and friends for helping me do what I love and guiding me to be a better person and athlete.”
