JPII Partners with Stang in Important Program

The school monitors and takes seriously our students’ mental health — particularly symptoms of anxiety, depression, and panic. In this COVID-season, these mental health challenges are even more pronounced. For this reason, we want to bring this conversation out into the open with students, staff members, and parents/guardians. In partnership with Bishop Stang High School, a sister school in the Fall River Diocese, SFXP Grade Seven/Eight students and all Bishop Stang and JPII students will participate in viewing the movie “Angst” (https://angstmovie.com/) to be followed by a panel discussion. “Angst” presents these serious matters authentically and responsibly, and the panel will be composed of educators and professionals from both school communities. Parents/guardians and school staff will also have the opportunity to view the film and join the panel discussion.
