Last night, JPII Theology Teacher and Girls Basketball head Coach James “Gus” Adams and JPII/SFXP Performing Arts Director and Theology Teacher Richard Fish were admitted to candidacy for the Permanent Diaconate of the Diocese of Fall River. Bishop Edgar M. da Cunha, S.D.V. celebrated the Mass at Holy Trinity Parish in Fall River.
Coach Adams and Mr. Fish are among seventeen men who have been in the formation program for over one year. God willing, they will complete their preparation and assist the faithful at school, in their parishes, and with the Church across Cape Cod. We are blessed to have such faithful staff members who advance the Church’s mission not only in the classroom but on the court and stage. Godspeed, Gentlemen!
