Ms. Paula Daly
Asst. Head of School, 5-8
Paula Daly the new assistant head of school, grades 5-8 joins the JPII community from Saint Joseph Preparatory High School in Boston where she was the Mathematics Department Chair. An educator with more than 20 years of experience, Ms. Daly holds Massachusetts certifications to teach math in grades 5-9 as well as grades 9-12.  Prior to Saint Joseph Preparatory School, Ms. Daly taught middle school math at Monsignor Haddad Middle School in Needham, MA. In addition to teaching five sections of pre-algebra and algebra, Ms. Daly created a math lab curriculum for seventh-grade enrichment, incorporated writing skills across the math curriculum, and was the lead teacher and mentor for new teachers.  Paula earned her Master’s degree in education from Emmanuel College. She recently completed her second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Boston College.  Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Massachusetts, Boston.

William Latimer, PhD., M.P.H.
Head of School
Dr. Latimer brings a distinguished record of leadership and academic excellence in Catholic education having served as President of Chestnut Hill College founded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph and The College of New Rochelle founded by the Ursuline Sisters, and as Vice President of Mercy College. At Chestnut Hill College, Dr. Latimer led a revitalization of the College led by the development of two programs in nursing that were approved by the State and began enrollment this past fall. At other administrative posts he has led efforts that significantly increased enrollment while fostering academic excellence. He has secured more-than $25 million in funding from the National Institutes of Health as Principal Investigator and published more-than 100 papers in peer reviewed journals focusing on the protective effects of neuropsychological executive functions across an array of academic and social-emotional factors. His career reflects a deep commitment to academic excellence, innovative growth, and the mission of Catholic education.

Dr. Thomas Savas
Academic Dean
Dr. Savas earned his doctorate in education from Ohio State University and is licensed to teach English 6-12 in Massachusetts and 7-12 in New York State. He completed his undergraduate degree in English at William & Mary. With over 30 years of K-16 classroom experience and administration in the United States and abroad, Dr. Savas most recently served as the Dean of Academics at Mother Caroline Academy and Education Center, an independent, tuition-free Boston girls' school rooted in the Catholic tradition.

Ms. Mona Lisa Valentino
Asst. Head of School, 9-12
Ms. Mona Lisa Valentino joined the school's administration team in 2012., as the Assistant Principal of Student Life. In 2018 she became the Grade 9-12 Principal. Previously, she taught science for ten years at Mashpee High School, including a summer web-based curriculum for science and English. Ms. Valentino entered the education field following a career in marketing for Digital Equipment Corporation and Compaq Computer Corporation. She earned her undergraduate degree from Fairfield University and her Master's Degree in Business Management from Lesley University. She recently completed a Catholic School Leadership Program with Creighton University. Ms. Valentino and her daughter, a 2011 graduate of Pope John Paul II High School, worship at Christ the King Parish in Mashpee.
