When she came to St. John Paul II as freshman four years ago, field hockey player Allison Santos was in a bit of a quandary.
The school did not have a field hockey program, and she couldn’t exactly put up a fuss with her parents to attend a school that had a team.
After all, her dad Mark is the athletic director and varsity baseball coach at St. John Paul II, while her mom Amy is the school receptionist. In addition, she had an older brother attending the school at the same time.
So she decided to apply her athletic prowess to a new sport – volleyball – and she couldn’t have been happier.
