The Assumption College Office of Student Affairs has announced that Gretchen Lynch, of Forestdale (JPII ’15, SFXP ’11), Class of 2019, has been selected among a significant pool of applicants to serve as a 2017 orientation leader.
The Assumption College orientation leaders, guided by the Catholic principles of Assumptionist tradition, are dedicated to supporting and challenging incoming freshmen during their transition to college. Interactive and collaborative experiences during three different orientation sessions in June – led by the orientation leaders – help both students and parents alike reflect on what it means to be an emerging adult in a college atmosphere. Orientation leaders will guide incoming students on their journey of becoming people of critical intelligence, thoughtful citizenship, and compassionate service.
