The St. John Paul II boys’ basketball team seems to be falling right in line with the other athletic teams at the high school.
While the Lions baseball team captured their third straight state title last spring and the football team made it to the South Sectional finals in the fall, the boys’ hoop team has designs on its own return to the postseason.
“It’s a new crew, and for a new group they’re doing pretty well,” said third-year head coach Dave Harrison, who also co-coaches the school’s football team with Mike Delaney in the fall. “We got a good start and played some good teams.”
